While Halsey famously declared they’re ~bad at love,~ in reality, the pop star doesn’t settle and is unapologetic about it. Some of those past romances have been more publicized than others, such as their former relationships with G-Eazy and Yungblud. Regardless of who she dates, though, the “Without Me” singer always remains true to theirself.

The “Gasoline” artist shocked fans when she announced their pregnancy on January 27, 2021.

“Surprise,” the “Graveyard” singer gushed on Instagram alongside three photos of their growing baby bump from a sweet pregnancy photo shoot. At the time, Life & Style confirmed the New Jersey native was expecting baby No. 1 with boyfriend Alev Aydin. She gave birth to their son, Ender Ridley Aydin, on July 14, 2021.

Halsey seems to be in a great place now romantically, but they experienced plenty of ups and downs. Following the “Eastside” artist’s final split from G-Eazy in October 2018 , Halsey got candid about how their on-and-off relationship with the “Had Enough” artist affected them — both personally and professionally.

“I was doing G ood Morning America , and I’m in a blonde wig and white patent-leather outfit, twirling around while I’m going through a heinous breakup,” the “Still Learning” singer recalled to Cosmopolitan magazine in September 2019.

“I look down and there are these two girls, one with pink hair, one with blue hair, septum piercings, cool as f–k, still loving me, probably knowing what a weird time I’m going through,” they continued. “I looked at them, looked at myself in my sparkly Britney Spears outfit, and went, ‘Ohhh no, they deserve way better than this.’ If those girls can be that brave in who they are, then I owe them better than this homogenized bulls—t.”

Eventually, Halsey was able to snap out of it. “If the worst thing that’s happened to me so far is I wore dumb clothes and dated a s–tty dude, I think I’m doing all right,” she declared.

Looking back at their relationship history also proves the Star Is Born actress has no type. The “Without Me” artist dated a few guys from the entertainment industry, but they couldn’t be more different from each other. While they’re all creative, these dudes are unique in their own way.

That being said, in the past, Halsey admitted dating musicians was definitely a pattern — that they tried to break.

“I stopped dating musicians … which is for my own benefit,” she told Zane Lowe in January 2020. “I want everyone to be the best versions of themselves so much that I sometimes don’t focus on making me the best version of myself.”

Though neither Halsey nor The 1975’s frontman ever confirmed they were an item, she did get candid about the kind of relationship they had, which didn’t seem like a regular friendship.

“We’re both attracted to characters, and we saw that in each other,” she told Billboard in 2015. “I spent a lot of time watching him, and he spent a lot of time loving being watched. But if you think he’s the first red-wine­-drinking, pretty-boy rocker in skinny jeans I’ve been associated with, you’re out of your f–king mind.”

Additionally, the song “Colors” from their debut album, Badlands, is rumored to be about him.

Machine Gun Kelly

In 2017, Halsey was romantically linked to Machine Gun Kelly after they were spotted hanging out at the beach. Whatever went down between them was short-lived because when photos of the outing resurfaced online the following year, Halsey quickly set the record straight.

“I’m not with anybody,” she tweeted. “That photo is two years old. Everyone mind they damn business.”

G-Eazy

The former flames broke up the first time around after G-Eazy allegedly cheated on them; months later they got back together. They ended things for good in October 2018, which was around the same time she dropped “Without Me” — a song that is said to be about him.

Yungblud

Halsey and the British singer-songwriter began dating in early 2019. By September of the same year, they split. Fortunately, though, there seemed to be no bad blood between the former flames.

“Sometimes people just break up,” the “New Americana” artist explained in a now-deleted tweet from October 2019. “It doesn’t mean someone cheated or something bad happened or someone f–ked up. Sometimes it just happens because life is constantly changing and adults stay friends and move on.”

It seems like the two still remain close, because in March 2020 they had dinner together. Halsey shared a photo of a traditional British meal, which Yungblud ended up reposting and giving his seal of approval. The following August, Halsey gave Yungblud a sweet shout-out for his 23rd birthday.

Not long after ending things with Yungblud, Halsey started dating the American Horror Story actor. In October 2019, they made their debut public appearance as a couple when they dressed up as Sonny and Cher for Halloween.

Up until February 2020, they appeared to be going strong considering Halsey gave him a sweet Valentine’s Day shout-out. Their relationship seemingly took a turn in March 2020 when she deleted all the photos she had with him from her Instagram.

Halsey and the Turkish producer were spotted out and about together in October 2020 but stayed pretty quiet about their relationship — until announcing in January 2021 that they were expecting their first child. They welcomed son Ender six months later in July.

After several months of reported sightings, musical artist Halsey and actor Avan Jogia confirmed their rumored relationship with an appearance in Los Angeles at a live show. The alleged couple were seen kissing, holding hands, and embracing at the show at the Cara Hotel on Monday, September 18. By February 2024, Halsey was posting openly about her “love” on social media.

Who is Avan Jogia?

Most fans know Jogia from his starring turn in Nickelodeon’s Victorious, but the Canadian actor has a pretty prolific creative career. Born in 1992, his first role came in 2006 in TV movie A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story. A series of smaller roles on series for the CW and Nickelodeon led to his starring turn in the 2009 film Spectacular! as Tajid.

In Victorious, he played Beck Oliver for four seasons. He has shared that his time with the network was complex, telling Teen Vogue in 2023, “I don’t look back on (Nickelodeon) fondly. But I do think it’s interesting to see just what it means to people. It’s touching, but also it’s out of your control.”

He continued, “I feel like I represent sadness for people because they can sort of look at me and be like, ‘Oh, right. I remember when I used to be young and things weren’t so complicated.’ It’s like, I represent an uncomplicated time. Sometimes I think that I have a strong desire to keep that image safe for them.”

Jogia has continued to act and branch out into directing. He directed several episodes of Last Teenagers of the Apocalypse and the 2022 short film Alex. Like Halsey, Jogia also makes music with his brother as part of the band Sanity Ivory. Their album Mixed Feelings was released in 2020. Finally, Jogia released a book in 2019 also titled Mixed Feelings.

How long have Halsey and Avan Jogia been together?

The pair were first seen in Barcelona, Spain, in June, 2023, then back in Los Angeles at the Silverlake Flea Market. Fans wrote in about sightings to gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi, according to Page Six. Fans also believe he made some discreet appearances in this carousel of pictures posted by Halsey in August.

Halsey recently broke up with her boyfriend of two years, Alev Aydin. The couple share a child, Ender Ridley. Some photos appeared to be taken while on vacation, in which they’re riding horses along a gorgeous beach. In another, he embraces her from behind. In a video clip, they’re seated inside a car and she points a vintage camera at their reflection.
